Our Values

The home will aim to provide high-quality, nurturing and compassionate care for children and young people with complex needs arising from Autism Spectrum Condition. Our ethos will be centred on creating a safe, stable and supportive environment where every child feels valued, respected and understood. We believe that all children and young people should live in a home where they feel loved, safe, happy and able to thrive.

Church View Children’s Place will strive to provide a standard of care that we would consider good enough for our own children one that is warm, nurturing, consistent and aspirational in its approach. At the heart of our practice will be the BRAVE values, which will underpin everything we do:

Belonging

We will create a calm, caring home where every child feels safe, accepted and that they truly belong. Through consistency, trust and warm relationships, children will develop emotional security and a sense of home.

Respecting Difference

We will recognise and celebrate each child as an individual. We will listen, adapt and respond with empathy and understanding, ensuring every child feels respected and valued for who they are.

Advocacy Through Love

We will actively speak up for each child with compassion, commitment and care. Through trusting relationships and deep understanding, we will protect children’s rights, champion their voices and ensure their wellbeing remains central to all decisions.

Valuing Potential

We will believe in each child’s strengths and potential. We will nurture confidence, independence and life skills at a pace that is right for each induvial child, encouraging aspiration and self-belief.

Enabling Growth

We will support children to grow emotionally, socially and personally. We will celebrate small steps, recognise meaningful progress and respect each child’s unique journey.

The home will promote positive outcomes for children and young people while recognising and celebrating their individuality. Care and support will be tailored to each child’s unique strengths, needs and aspirations. We will aim to provide meaningful life experiences and opportunities that children may not otherwise have access to, supporting them to build confidence, independence and a sense of achievement
